There are two distinct kinds of commissioned work: product design and development. We can work on design alone or include both in one project, with each scope clearly identified.
You receive the complete set of screens included in the agreed Figma scope, together with the agreed system, components and design documentation.
I personally create the concept and main screens. AI agents help prepare the foundations and extend my direction into further views, states and interactions. I review the results.
I code every project as part of that workflow and share the resulting code alongside Figma. You may use it or have your own team implement the Figma project.
For a design-only engagement, this additional code is not a commissioned implementation. It may include demo data, simulated behaviour and incomplete features. Its production completeness, integrations and code revisions are not acceptance criteria for the design order.
Feedback and agreed revisions to the Figma design remain part of our collaboration.
When you order development, we include it separately in the estimate and agree on the functionality, integrations, data, technical requirements, QA, acceptance criteria and code revisions.
Deployment, hosting and maintenance are included when explicitly agreed.
You are billed for actual hours worked. This suits projects with evolving requirements, exploration and iterative decisions.
I track time in Toggl, share detailed reports every two weeks, and send a monthly summary with the invoice. Design, research, refinement, verification and agreed development are working time.
When AI helps complete a task faster, the report reflects the shorter actual time. Saved hours are not billed.
